- Easy, Healthy and Fun Aromatherapy Gifts
by Christa McCourt

Are you ready for the holidays? If not, now is the time to start thinking about planning, decorating and the gifts you will be buying or making for your friends and family.

Sometimes it can be really hard finding a special gift for your friend or parent "who has everything", or who's "hard to buy for." Gift certificates are nice and all, but they really lack that special heartfelt touch.

I always find that wellness gifts seem to make the best presents. People love receiving gifts that they can DO something with (and are good for them,) unlike "display" items. Who wants more clutter, anyway? I sure don't!

If you love to make your holiday gifts, you'll love the following suggestions for easy, healthy aromatherapy gifts. If you're not the craft-making type, skip this section and go on to the next section on ready-made aromatherapy gifts.

2 Recipes to Make-Your-Own Aromatherapy Gifts:

Christmas Bath Soak - for soaking away holiday tension!

2 cups of Epsom or Dead Sea salts
1 cup of baking soda
15 drops of Peace & Calming essential oil blend

(you can double or triple this recipe for multiple gifts!)

Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the mixture into a glass jar(s). Tie ribbon or lace around the lid as a decoration. Give this gift along with a new pair of fuzzy slippers!

Write this on your label:
"Holiday Bath Soak"
Use 1/4 cup in your bath to soak away any holiday tension.
*add ingredients to the label if you have the space.
